Last week in search of some winter sun, we brought you the breathtaking view of the Pitons from the The Sun Suite at Jade Mountain, and this week we are taking you to the other side of the world: Bungalow 5 at Hotel Kia Ora on Rangiroa on the Tuamotu Archipelago in the French Polynesia.

Right in the middle of the South Pacific right in the heart of one of the world's biggest lagoons, on Rangiroa, large enough to contain Greater London. 3,000 miles away from Sydney or Los Angeles, with only 2,400 Rangiroans as company, it does not get more peaceful and remote than this.

The Hotel Kia Ora Resort & Spa is located on the northwest part of the atoll of Rangiroa, between the passes of Tiputa and Avatoru.
