Friday

First day in the city, you’re bound to want an easy yet fun filled day to really catch up with the girls. Checked into your hotel, discover Paris a little and get right in there by visiting the Louvre. Besides it being a great tourist hotspot, featuring gorgeous art including one of the most famous pieces – The Mona Lisa herself, the Louvre is one of the perfect places for a photo op with your girls! Once you’ve got that perfect photo and explored more of the museum’s legendary artwork head on out for lunch at Café de L’imprimerie, just off Rue du Louvre. It has a heated partly-closed-in terrace on one side and an open terrace on the other, perfect for people watching and enjoying the view. L’imprimerie offer an interesting range of salads including a good stir-fry vegetable dish (wok de légumes) and vegetarian lasagne, so no diets will be broken.

Take in more of the city, walk down to the Notre Dame Cathedral, France's most famous cathedral which absolutely must be explored both inside and out to fully appreciate the Gothic architecture, flying buttresses and detailed stained-glass windows. Ascend the steps to the top of the bell towers where the fictional Hunchback of Notre Dame called home, and snap some photos of the comical and grotesque gargoyles that jut out from the building. Day one should be coming to an end by now but that doesn’t mean the fun ends. Make your way to Buddha Bar where you’ll probably spend the rest of the night with your girlfriends. Buddha Bar is the perfect relaxing space for a night of dinner, drinks before turning to dancing and drinks. The pan-Asian menu matches the décor, with offerings of teppan yaki entrees and sushi starters. Eat at one of the booths downstairs before heading up to the bar area for a better view of the giant Buddha statue and before the night gets messy!

Saturday

There’s no better cure for a hangover than to go shopping! Okay that may be a lie but when in Paris shopping is an absolute must, who would want to give all the Parisien Boutiques and designer hotspots a miss? The avenue Montaigne is the place to be, considered to be la grande dame of French streets for high fashion and accessories, and now considered more important than rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré you really can’t go wrong. Several established clothing designers set up here, a stable of top designers and firms, such as LVMH Céline, Loewe, Vuitton, Inès de la Fressange and formerly Christian Lacroix, it’s a shopper’s paradise.

Champs Elysees Shopping Room Suggestion

You’ll need to rest your feet by now so get yourself a table at Apicius in the heart of Paris' Eighth district, just a stone's throw from the Champs Elysees. Elegance surrounds diners here, and the food is hard-pressed to match the surroundings, but Chef Jean-Pierre Vigato does an excellent job of rising to the occasion. His creative dishes have given a whole new feel to fine dining in Paris. And of course it’s perfectly situated for you to get to your next destination; The Champs-Elysees. You can’t visit Paris and not check out this shopping hotspot. Not only is it the perfect photo spot it also boasts some of the best stores in high street and designer brands.

Head back to your hotel to drop your day’s haul off and slip into your LBDs before heading out, it is a girls weekend after all right, which means it’s time to have some drinks get merry and hit the dance floor. World Place is the perfect place to be on a Saturday; expect well-mixed cocktails in a fantastic atmosphere with modern white decor punctuated by splashes of coloured light. DJs and the occasional live act keep the music (and the clientele) grooving. Oh and we’re sure that having three celebrity owners (Johnny Depp, John Malkovich and Sean Penn) certainly helps maintain the buzz at this frequently-changing club, so of course it’s a definite must-check-out-club!

Once you’re totally chilled head out and visit the Place Des Vosges; the oldest square in Paris. It’s beautiful, quiet and chilled and a great exploration. Grass, gardens, and gorgeous fountains dot the plaza today, and many of Paris' high society have been raised in the surrounding town homes above the romantically encircling arcade. From here move onto The Basilica of the Sacred Heart (Sacre-Couer) a monument to both Roman Catholicism and the many social revolutions that Paris has seen during its history. The highest point in the city of Paris it boasts the best view of the city! Gaze in wonder at one of the world's largest mosaics, a meditation garden, and a panoramic view of the city from the top of the dome; it’s absolutely breath-taking.

For your final dinner with your girlfriends visit Joël Robuchon’s famed restaurant L'Atelier De Joël Robuchon a circular bar with 36 seats that allows clients to follow the service, watch the succession of dishes, and to compose their own meal according to their appetite, as the menu offers all the great classics to taste in small, tapas-style portions and presented in the grand tradition of Paris. Perfect for sharing, enjoying some wine and getting some last minute reminiscing in with your girls.
